Royal Caribbean Group Builds on an Outstanding 2025 and Enters 2026 with Wind in its Sails

Royal Caribbean Group is heading into 2026 with strong momentum following an outstanding year marked by record performance and the continued expansion of its powerful ecosystem that gives guests more ways to experience the world and more reasons to keep coming back.

In 2025, the Group delivered a record 9.4 million vacations, achieving very high guest satisfaction across its brands. The results keep Royal Caribbean Group on track to meet its Perfecta financial goals by 2027 and support its bold ambitions for the years ahead.

“As we move into 2026 and beyond, what stands out is how we continue to shape the future of vacations,” said Jason Liberty, Chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group. “We strengthened every part of our growing ecosystem – from our brands and our ocean and river ships to our exclusive destinations, technological innovations, and our industry-leading loyalty program that keeps guests returning to us again and again.”

New Products and Innovations
In 2025, the Group introduced several major additions across its portfolio, launching Star of the Seas and Celebrity Xcel, and opening Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. Its joint venture, TUI Cruises, added to this momentum with the delivery of Mein Schiff Relax, the first vessel in its new class and the largest ship in its fleet.

The Group also continued advancing its disruptive technological capabilities and industry-leading loyalty program. With Points Choice, loyalty members have more flexibility in how they use their points to vacation within Royal Caribbean Group’s family of brands, regardless of which ship they’re sailing.

Positioning for Long-Term Growth
Those investments are now being matched with bold, long-term growth commitments. Royal Caribbean Group shared several initiatives that set the stage for its next phase of expansion. Celebrity River Cruises announced plans for a significant fleet expansion, and Royal Caribbean introduced its new Discovery Class of ships.

These initiatives are part of a wider innovation pipeline underway throughout the company. Across its brands, the Group will introduce eight new ships over the next three years and five new land-based destinations by 2028, offering guests a wider range of vacation experiences on land and sea.

A Strong Start to 2026
The momentum has carried into the new year. The 2026 WAVE season is off to a record start, delivering the strongest seven booking weeks in company history. And early performance from upcoming ships, including Legend of the Seas, continues to exceed expectations.

That success is mirrored in external recognition. Royal Caribbean Group was recently named to the Fortune World’s Most Admired Companies 2026 and Forbes America’s Best Companies lists – recognition tied to its culture, leadership, and long-term strategic and financial focus.

With new ships, new destinations, and robust demand ahead, Royal Caribbean Group is well positioned for another year of strong growth and innovation.

Liberty notes that the company’s guest-first mindset remains central to that momentum:
“By keeping guests at the core of everything we do, we are offering more choices, more ways to celebrate milestones, and more reasons to stay within Royal Caribbean Group – turning a vacation of a lifetime into a lifetime of vacations.”
