As Chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group, Jason stewards this leading vacation company and its world-class brands including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea, as well as 50% ownership of a joint venture in TUI Cruises which operates two German brands, Mein Schiff and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. The Group’s global fleet of 71 ships sails to all seven continents propelled by nearly 100,000 employees from more than 130 countries.

Under Mr. Liberty’s leadership, Royal Caribbean Group is redefining the vacation experience – at sea and on land – through a commitment to delivering the best vacations responsibly. The company is scaling its digital and commercial capabilities, promoting energy innovation, and driving long-term shareholder value. He has led the Group’s next phase of growth, including the launch of world-class new ships, exclusive destination experiences, and a bold new venture into river cruising with Celebrity River Cruises, all ushering in the future of vacations.

He previously served as President and CEO for three years, Chief Financial Officer for nine years and held multiple senior leadership roles during his more than two decades with the company. Prior to joining the Group, he worked at KPMG, one of the world’s leading professional services firms.

Mr. Liberty earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Miami Herbert Business School, a master’s degree in finance from Indiana University, and an MBA from the University of North Carolina Kenan‑Flagler Business School. He serves on the University of Miami Board of Trustees and the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School Board of Advisors.
