Ready Set Sail

Take action to support the return of cruising

As you may know, cruising remains the only sector of the economy that is prohibited by the U.S. Government from operating at this time. That is stifling the industry’s annual contributions of $56 billion in total economic impact and 450,000 jobs in the U.S. alone.

In concert with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), Royal Caribbean Group is petitioning the CDC and U.S. policymakers to remove the Conditional Sail Order and allow cruising to resume along with other travel and hospitality industries. CLIA has launched a “Ready Set Sail” campaign to raise our collective voice.

We ask you to please join the Group and cruise-related industries in this crucial campaign to move our industry forward.

We believe we can – and must – be part of the country’s re-opening this summer, sailing from U.S. ports in July. We are more than ready to go. Our ships have been sailing since December outside of the U.S. and have carried more than 100,000 people safely already. Industry-wide, nearly 400,000 guests have enjoyed safe, pleasant journeys in 10 markets since last July.

We led the industry – and beyond – in developing science-led health and safety protocols that work, including establishing the Healthy Sail Panel, which supports our July return. Vaccines are a game-changer and together with our robust, proven protocols allow us to operate with a high level of confidence in our ability to return to sailing safely.

Thank you in advance for your support. Help us get back to cruising.
